Introduction: The Silence of the Spectrum

Imagine a place where laughter was once the only currency. Rainbow Gate was the pinnacle of entertainment, a dual-purpose toy factory and amusement park that dazzled families with its state-of-the-art animatronics and "rainbow-infused" joy. But when the lights went out following a catastrophic tragedy, the gates were welded shut, leaving a decade of rumors to fester.

In this first-person survival horror experience, you step into the shoes of a weary detective. You aren't there for a vacation; you're there because people are still disappearing, and the trail leads directly into the mouth of the abandoned park. You’ll need to master the art of stealth, solve environmental puzzles left behind by a frantic staff, and—most importantly—keep your flashlight battery full. The "Rainbow" isn't as bright as the brochures promised.

The Lore: Full Elaboration

[SPOILER ALERT: FULL PLOT AND ENDING DETAILS BELOW]

Do not read further if you wish to experience the mysteries of Rainbow Gate for yourself. You have been warned!

The story of Rainbow Gate is far darker than a simple "malfunctioning robot" trope. As you explore the secret archives and staff-only zones, the "Whistleblower" tapes reveal the truth: the park's founder, driven by a grief-stricken obsession to "preserve" the happiness of children, began experimenting with a substance known as "Rainbow Oil." This wasn't just a lubricant for the animatronics; it was a bio-synthetic compound designed to mimic human emotion. The tragedy that closed the park wasn't a mechanical failure—it was a mass consumption event. During a "Midnight Show," the animatronics, led by the central mascot Blue Rabbit, began to force-feed the audience the Rainbow Oil, believing that by "filling" them with the oil, they could keep them happy forever.

The Spoilers:

  • The Protagonist's Identity: You eventually discover that the detective you play as is actually the younger brother of one of the original technicians. He didn't come to solve a case; he came to find the body of his brother, only to find his brother's consciousness has been "uploaded" into the central server of the Honey Castle.

  • The Killer: The "Who Killer" puzzle reveals that the founder didn't die of natural causes; he was murdered by his own creations when he tried to shut the Rainbow Oil project down.

  • The Ending: After the final chase scene through the Voting Hall, you have a choice. You can either destroy the central server, ending the "consciousness" of the victims trapped in the machines (at the cost of your own escape), or you can use the Rainbow Gate itself—a literal teleportation device—to leave the park.

  • The Twist: In the "True Ending," as you exit through the gate, you realize your reflection in the glass has changed. Your eyes are glowing with the iridescent sheen of the Rainbow Oil. You didn't just escape the park; you carried the "infection" out with you, implying the "joy" is about to go global.
