The ocean has always been a source of mystery, but in the Megalodon Horror (specifically the popular UEFN/Fortnite experience by Fezer), it becomes a claustrophobic nightmare.
Phase 1: The Tranquil Voyage & The Descent
Your journey begins on a research vessel. The atmosphere is calm until a massive breach occurs.
Initial Tasks: Follow the on-screen prompts to read Note 1. You’ll quickly realize the ship is compromised.
The Dive Capsule: Locate and interact with the Dive Capsule to drop into the ocean.
This triggers a transition cutscene where the Megalodon first makes its presence known, stalking your descent. Ocean Floor Arrival: Once you land, your priority is oxygen and gear. Search the immediate vicinity to find the 3 pieces of Diving Equipment.
Without these, your stamina and health will drain rapidly in the open water.
Phase 2: Exploration and the Underwater Fortress
After securing your gear, you must find a way into the underwater facility.
The Radar Puzzle
Head upstairs to the control deck. You need to check the Radar to locate the facility’s entrance.
Solution: Follow the directional pings on your HUD. You’ll need to navigate through shadowy sea caves and drifting rafts.
Keycard Locations
To progress through the facility, you need the Green and Red Keycards.
Green Keycard: Often found in the crew quarters or near the initial docking bay inside a locker.
Red Keycard: Located deeper in the facility, usually guarded by a stealth section where the Megalodon’s eye is visible through the reinforced glass.
Phase 3: Puzzles & Mechanics
The "Megalodon" experience uses light and sound mechanics to build tension.
Electrical Switches: You will encounter a darkened hallway where you must turn on 4 Electrical Switches.
Pro Tip: Move only when the Megalodon is not actively slamming against the facility walls, as the vibrations can disorient your movement.
The Rotating Pipe Puzzle: In the lab area, you’ll find a series of disconnected pipes. Rotate the segments until the flow of steam/water is restored. This opens the path to the Big Red Button (the lockdown override).
Phase 4: The Final Escape

All Endings Explained
The Megalodon Horror features 3 distinct endings based on your choices in the final room:
The Survival Ending (Good Ending): To achieve this, you must successfully activate the distress beacon and reach the surface buoy before the facility collapses. You are rescued by a helicopter as the Megalodon disappears into the abyss.
The Sacrifice Ending (Neutral Ending): If you choose to manually override the reactor to trap the Megalodon, you save the world from the beast but remain trapped in the facility as it floods.
The Predator Ending (Bad Ending): If you fail the final stealth sequence or miss the timing on the escape hatch, a final jumpscare occurs, and you are consumed by the Megalodon, becoming another statistic of the deep.
